EDIT 3:
Hidey ho again everyone.
As of this time, I am closing the Emergency Commissions, and will not be taking up any new ones at this point. If I had already contacted you through notes with the a-okay (ie, "yep, I can and will draw this"), then you still have your slot, so no worries.

Just for reference; the slots:
2 & 3 go to TheOttselMaster Done!  oteibilitz.deviantart.com/art/…
4 goes to H-A-Cooke Done!   oteibilitz.deviantart.com/art/…
5 goes to SandnBlood Done!  oteibilitz.deviantart.com/art/…

I want to thank everyone again for all the help, and I will get your pictures done as quick as possible! :aww: After that, I will hopefully 100% know what is going on concerning my friends' situation, and have the results of the fund, and will update you all as soon as I do!

The donation fund is still open, and if you want to donate money, you definitely still can, I just won't be drawing for them at this time (unless a new piece of info surfaces, and I re-open them, which I will definitely tell you about).

EDIT 2:
Hey everyone-we're reaching the end point with our fundraising! As of right now, and unless I am informed otherwise, we have less than a day left! And I know we are still pretty far away from the overall goal of having the two of them be able to keep their home =/ but that doesn't mean we should give up! Things can change-maybe they can get an extension? Maybe someone's long lost relative happens upon this post in the next 24 hours and donates 7K? Maybe the landlord will have a change of heart? Maybe 700 people will suddenly want sketches from me, allowing for the funds to arrive in time? Who knows, but the point is no giving up yet!

That being said, if you are commissioning me (or Firecat ), you need to donate to the fund first. And at this point, today. Sending the money can't wait. Even if we have gone over details and specifics via note (and what have you on the other sites), and I know what I am to draw, I can't until that money gets sent. I feel awful saying that, but that's just how it has to be right now =/

If you can't afford to donate/commission that's okay, we understand, and no one will hate you because that would just be silly. But spreading this around can still help, even if this ends up being the last day. Who knows-you really might have a long lost rich relative that will see your repost and save the day at the last minute.

I will keep you guys updated when I find out more about the situation-especially if we end up with more time to round up money, or if we miraculously reach our goal in time.

EDIT:
Firstly, I want to thank everyone that has helped out so far! It really means a lot to all of us! I know I continue to repeat that, but I can't come up with words to properly express how grateful we all are-it's just such a vast measurement of thankfulness that words can't do it justice!

Secondly, another of our very good friends has also opened commissions to help gather up donations! And hers are available in Full Colour! And if that sounds more enticing than what I am offering here, you should most definitely stop by her site: firecatdesigns.weebly.com/news… and take her up on the offer!!!

Thank you all again!

----- ----- ----- ----- -----

I have some really awful news to share with you guys. My best friend and her aunt have run into an extreme case of bad luck, and not only has their only car been repossessed, they were given an eviction notice.
So my friend started a donation fund here: www.gofundme.com/9tu0d8 in an attempt to raise enough money to able to keep their car and their home.
This is not a scam, this is not just for some acquaintance I knew in fifth grade, or anything ridiculous like that.
This is my best friend and her amazing aunt. I've known them for over 11 years-basically half of my life-and they are beautiful people. They aren't even just friends actually, they are my family. And they have been for a long while. They're selfless and always put helping people on the absolute top of their lists in everything they do. Even when they didn't have much to spare (be it time, money or what have you), if someone needed help, they were there at the ready and doing everything they possibly could. They're good people, and nobody deserves to lose everything-especially not them.

Aside from spreading the word around all the sites I'm apart of, and messaging my family to try and get them to help, the only other way I thought up to help them was to offer my art in exchange for monetary donations to their fund.

The prices and options I have set below are pretty much non-negotiable. We only have a certain amount of time left before they lose everything, and there's only so many drawings I can get done in said amount of time. So lowering the prices would not be beneficial to the cause, given the current ratio and balance I have to maintain between time and cost. Also because of that ratio, I won't be doing anything more labour intensive and time-taking-up than lineart (even offering lineart is pushing it a bit).

If you can spare the money to commission me for them, we would all be extraordinarily grateful for your help. Or even just a donation-every little bit helps! And it would mean so much to us! (and ease the workload for me)

And even if you can't afford to spend the money, if you could spread the word at least? Maybe direct people here that are looking for art? Or link people to the donation page? That'd be helpful too! The more people that see it, the more the chances increase that we can get the money in time.

Also, because this is very important, you might see a lot of postings about this-especially if you follow me on other sites. I apologize if it gets annoying, but you all know I don't ordinarily spam you guys and demand that you view a thing. So since I'm sort of breaking that rule, you know it's for something important, and I feel you can put up with it until this is resolved.

! ! ! EMERGENCY COMMISSIONS ! ! !

CHIBIS AND PONIES:

5 USD

Examples:
Back by Oteibilitz Cheebee Marley by Oteibilitz Psy Chibi by Oteibilitz Sketchy Chibi-s by Oteibilitz Otz Pony by Oteibilitz
They will not be coloured, and they will remain as traditional sketches on white paper. You do have the choice of either the super big headed chibi, or the more proportionate chibi.

TRADITIONAL SKETCHES

10 USD

Examples:
Derya Sketch by Oteibilitzsta.sh/018ob0ux04ez
I'm sorry that I don't have many recent traditional examples to show you, (I haven't had the time to upload any) but they don't vary in style from the way the digital sketches are drawn. The main difference is that the traditional sketches are faster to draw than the digital ones. All traditional sketches will be on white paper (and they will have complete faces).

DIGITAL SKETCHES

15 USD

Examples:
Free Sketch: H-A-Cooke by Oteibilitz Free Sketch: FoxeeLaLa by Oteibilitz Free Sketch: Everyone-Screams by Oteibilitz Free Sketch: Liru-Kaulitz by Oteibilitz Free Sketch: KarienPryde by Oteibilitz
All digital sketches will be on white backgrounds. If you really want, you can pick the colour of the line work, otherwise the default is a dark grey or black.

DIGITAL LINEART

30 USD

Examples:
SketchSwap: Rocz by Oteibilitz Vegas TEST by Oteibilitz A Case of Missing Boots by Oteibilitz
Now before anyone makes a fuss at the price jump, 100% clean and finished lines take me THE LONGEST to do, and time is not something my friend or I have time a lot of if we want her to keep her car and home. So if you absolutely insist on lineart, it's going to cost you more.
That being said, finished lineart will be on a white background; like the digital sketch, if you want the lines to be a specific colour, you can choose it. Otherwise, the default colour will be black or dark grey.

! ! ! IMPORTANT ! ! !
I will draw you just about anything. That includes original characters, fan characters, fan art, animals, creatures, random objects, etc. Some things I am better at drawing than others, but I will do my best!
The only things I won't draw are things that are sexually explicit, promote hate, or anything else that's against deviantArt's rules.
Feel free to ask me if you have a specific thing you want drawn, but don't know if I can do it!
I know a lot of the examples shown depict more than one character in a picture, but given the time constraints, I ask that you only pick one character/main subject per piece, please. You can of course buy more than one if you want to.

HOW TO GO ABOUT THIS
:bulletgreen: Contact me first! If you are a deviantArt user, you can comment on this journal, send me a note, or e-mail me. If you are not a deviantArt user and were linked to this page via Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook, or otherwise, it will be easier if you send me an e-mail. My e-mail address is TheMirkwoodian@comcast.net. In the subject line, please write "Emergency Commission."
:bulletgreen: In that e-mail, comment, or note, please include the following information: Your username/name you will be using to pay with, who or what you want me to draw (please be as specific as possible; if you have something particular in mind like your character hula hooping, full body, purple sketch lines, or what have you, then please say so! Along with any other details/preferences/etc! Otherwise you will get whatever my brain comes up with. If you don't have any additional specifics, just say "Surprise Me!" ), reference pictures if applicable, what tier you want me to draw in along with any options for that tier, and how much money you will be sending in. (If you are leaving me a note or comment, be sure to include your e-mail address so I can send you the file once it's completed)
:bulletgreen: After I reply to you with the a-okay, go to the fund ( www.gofundme.com/9tu0d8 )and send your money with the name you provided.
:bulletgreen: Once I see that you sent in your money, I will start and complete your piece. I will upload it here, and also send you the original file via e-mail.

ADDITIONALLY
If you want to combine commissions (example: 1 Lineart, and 2 traditional sketches=50 USD) that's totally fine-just be sure to mention that and include all the details when you contact me.

If you want to donate more than the price of the piece you're interested in (example: You want 1 digital sketch, but want to donate 35 USD), we can do that as well. It'd free me up to make more pieces, and it'd get her more money faster.

You can also just donate the money and not have me draw you anything. That would be very much appreciated as well!!!

I'm sorry it took so long, and I'm sorry I couldn't give more, but I was finally able to donate. I really hope they get the help they need. :)
